Abstract

Talking Tom looks like a simple and fun mobile app but not many are aware of the important ingredients required for building a candidate for global success. We'll look into the technical challenges of bringing interactive 3D characters to life in the form of a mobile app. We will look how animation and sound processing evolved in time and what are the challenges with handling various devices.

We will also dive into the challenges imposed by global success of more than 1.4 billion downloads and hundreds of millions of monthly active users. How to build scalable infrastructure and ensure that your products are available to everyone and everywhere.
